Entertainment:
- 40% of entertainers asked said they have 1 meeting with their clients before the event, whereas 25% have 3-4 meetings beforehand.
- 65% of couples that choose a band to entertain at their wedding, said if they had to do it all over again, they would have chosen a DJ. In our opinion, this is due to their versatility, accommodations, and the unnecessary breaks.
- 80% of wedding couples will hire a mobile entertainer (DJ) for their reception.
- During wedding planning, brides say their highest priority is their attire, followed by reception site and caterer; reception entertainment is among the least of their priorities. Within one week after their reception, 78% of brides say they would have made the entertainment their highest priority!
After the vows... - 72% of all brides say they would have spent more time choosing their entertainment! - Almost 100% say they would have spent more on their entertainment! - 81% of guests surveyed remember most about a wedding is the entertainment!
- On average, the entertainment selected accounts for 3-5% of your wedding budget. Bride's & Modern Bride Magazine recommends to set aside 10% of your budget for best results.
- Of all your wedding vendors combined (excluding entertainment), they make up approx. 80% of your wedding investment, but only account for 20% of your wedding's success. Whereas the entertainment, should make up 10% of your investment and accounts for at least 80% of the responsibility and success of the event!
- Boomin' Beats recommends investing at least $1,000 or 10% of your wedding budget on the entertainment, given the success of your event!
In Wisconsin: - The median age for first-time marriages is 24.8 for women and 26.4 for men. - The most popular months are: August, June, and September. - There were 34,220 marriages in 2003.
