microStar Motion Sensor

The microStar M offers many features of the popular D38 such as Human Presence Radar™ (HPR™), which offers unparalleled protection to even the slowest moving pedestrians from doors closing prematurely. The microStar M is the first motion sensor to feature an “installation mode.” In this mode, the installer can set the detection area without having to physically activate the door. Installation mode is especially valuable in times of bad weather, or when a large number of pedestrians are present. The microStar M fits 1¾” door frames, and includes visible LEDs to verify activation. Narrow and wide-pattern antennas are included, and the sensor offers multi-axis pattern adjustment (in/out and left/right). A wire harness is included to simplify (and quicken) installations. Like the D38, the microStar M can be set for unidirectional or bi-directional detection. (Supersedes prior units D7, D15 and D38)

E-2035 MS Sedco ID20 Industrial Door Activator

The ID20 is a long range microwave motion sensor for activating automatic industrial doors. Features include a speed selectable switch that makes the unit capable of detecting pedestrians and/or vehicles. Detection mode is selectable between approach-only or depart-only motion and the weatherproof housing makes it ideal for exterior applications. Microwave technology allows the ID20 to detect larger objects, such as fork trucks, up to 60 ft. away. Maximum pattern size is approximately 18 ft. wide at 60 ft. from the unit and is adjustable via a range potentiometer on the printed circuit board. The ID20 is not affected by air motion, change in temperature, humidity, color or background variations and is an ideal alternative to in-ground loop detectors.

The DH97 is a 4-row presence sensor designed to provide safety protection for all types of automatic doors. The DH97 is based upon the most reliable active infrared (AI) technology available—Floor Reflection Method (FRM). With FRM-AI up to 32 individual detection zones (floor points) are precisely reflected off of the floor in a rectangular pattern, meeting and exceeding ANSI A 156.10 guidelines. The DH97's versatility comes from its adjustable detection pattern. Its width is adjustable from 36 inches to over 7 feet wide, while depth can be adjusted from 4 rows down to 1 row. Pattern density actually increases as the sensor adjusts to its narrowest setting since there is no lens or zone masking required. (Supersedes prior units D14-1 and D14-2)

E-3035 MS Sedco Door Mounted Safety Sensor

The SafePath SSS-1 mounts directly to the top of the door to provide safety protection for pedestrians while the door is moving. On swing doors, while the door is opening, the SSS-1 will sense and protect a person in its path and either slow or stop the door. When the door is closing, the SSS-1 will sense a person in its path and reopen the door. The SSS-1 combines the most reliable active infrared technology available with Position Sensitive Detection (PSD) technology found in auto focus cameras to ensure precise detection that is easy to set up in any application. The SSS-1 mounts on either side or both sides of the door depending upon the application. They can be used stand alone or in conjunction with other sensors for complete door safety.

The DH100 is a combination 2-row motion, 3-row presence sensor designed to provide both activation and safety protection for automatic sliding & folding doors in a single device. The DH100 is based upon the most reliable active infrared (AI) technology available—Floor Reflection Method (FRM). With FRM-AI up to 40 individual detection zones (floor points) are precisely reflected off of the floor in a rectangular pattern meeting and exceeding ANSI A156.10 guidelines. E-3080 MS Sedco AccuGuard BP-2 Safety Beam System

The AccuGuard BP2 is a dependable and unobtrusive infrared safety beam system for use with any automatic pedestrian door. This modular system consists of a separate beam control module, two transmitter beam heads with cables and two receiver beam heads with cables. The beam heads are available for recess mounting (BP2) and Erich Industries, Inc. includes surface mount housings. When a beam is interrupted the beam control module signals the door control to open. In the event of a power loss to the AccuGuard BP2 the beam control module will also signal the door control to open thus providing a failsafe safety system. The AccuGuard BP2 is designed to save money on door preparation. It also provides for easier installation, quicker change-out and better aesthetic value.

E-3060 MS Sedco GD11S Infrared Safety Photocell
 

The GD11S is a self-contained surface mount active infrared safety beam system for interior or exterior use on any automatic pedestrian door, industrial door or gate. When the infrared beam is interrupted, the GD11S’ relay output signals an industrial door or gate control to open, stop or reverse. This is now a requirement of ANSI A156.10 2005. In the event of a power loss to the GD11S, the relay changes state (failsafe). The GD11S is supplied by Erich with the GDB quick mounting brackets for easy installation on industrial doors and gates.

E-RLM MS Sedco RLM Relay Lockout Module and Safety Beams

DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR ANSI A156.10 2005 SWING DOOR REQUIREMENTS. The RLM uses Intelligent Door Position™ monitoring circuitry to automatically identify and swing door's open and closed positions and determine its closing time. The RLM then controls the approach sensor, overhead safety sensor and safety beams. DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR ANSI A156.10 2005 KNOWING ACT SWING DOOR REQUIREMENTS. The SAM uses Intelligent Door Position™ monitoring circuitry to automatically identify and swing door's open and closed positions and determine its closing time. The SAM then controls the push plate switch (knowing act), approach sensor (secondary activation) and overhead safety sensor. The proprietary software monitors the door's position and controls when to turn on and off the approach sensor after the push plate is activated while simultaneously monitoring the overhead safety sensor and locking out its signal during the door's closing cycle.
