The Foothills area of the Far NE Heights of Albuquerque include homes East of Tramway to the foothills of the Sandia mountain rang, between Arroyo del Oso (north) and I-40 to the south, adjacent to another beautiful area known as Four Hills.
There are several "subareas" within The Foothills, including HIGH DESERT, SANDIA HEIGHTS, and GLENWOOD HILLS. Homes in the Foothills are diverse in style, age, and price range. Several townhome complexes exist in this area but single-family homes predominate. There are just a few apartment complexes located mostly close to Tramway and the Interstate.
