Dear BYST Parents:

The YWCA swim board voted unanimously to amend our payment policy. From this point forward, a reminder letter will be sent out to all families who are 30 days past due for either swim dues or meet fees. A second letter will be sent at 60 days past due. If fees are not paid by 90 days past due, the swimmer will not be allowed to practice with the team or swim in any meets until both the dues and fees are paid in full. Should extenuating circumstances arise, please contact the coach, board president or treasurer to arrange payment options. Please remember that dues are due by the 5th of each month and meet fees are to be paid prior to your child competing in any meet. Beginning in January, all monthly dues will be auto debited from your checking accounts. While auto debit is mandatory for all those families who pay on a monthly basis, it is an option for those who pay seasonally or annually. Meet fees will not be auto debited and should be paid in the business office. If you have not already done so, please see Brenda to complete your auto debit paperwork. Lastly, as we discussed at the parent?s meeting in September, we have not had an increase in our swim dues for several years. However given the decrease in the number of swimmers on the team, it has become necessary to increase our dues slightly, approximately $1.00 per swimmer, per day. Even with this increase, BYST still remains a value when compared to other swim teams in Georgia. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 638-2515.
